"How Artificial Intelligence will change retail sector?"
We invite you to participate in a workshop (remote) aimed at identifying the skills needs related to Artificial Intelligence in the retail sector. The workshops are organized by the University of Warsaw – Digital Economy Lab (DELab) as part of the special project "INcreasing the uptake of AI technology in Retail" under the "Horizon Europe" program. We believe that your knowledge and experience will have an impact on the safe application of Artificial Intelligence in the retail sector in the future!
The workshops will allow us to create free online courses tailored to the needs of entrepreneurs and SME employees. The courses will aim to increase the capabilities and skills of entrepreneurs and employees in the application of Artificial Intelligence in SMEs in the retail sector. They will also contribute to the safe implementation and use of Artificial Intelligence in enterprises.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for people working in the retail sector, entrepreneurs, employees, and people from organizations (EEN, foundations, associations, consulting firms, business support institutions, clusters, etc.) that support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in the subject of digitalization.
How can you help us?
During the workshops, you will participate in the co-creation process, i.e., through conversation, sharing your knowledge about Artificial Intelligence in the retail sector. We would also like you to contribute to the way the research results are presented. Therefore, we will provide you with a preliminary version of the report for you to comment on, modify, or supplement with additional content. Based on the workshops, a report "Skills gaps and needs related to Artificial Intelligence in retail SMEs" will be created, which we plan to make available to companies and present to the European Commission. We will be grateful for your participation in the workshops and your contribution to the co-creation process. In thanks for your time and commitment to the workshop, you will receive a special certificate from the Digital Economy Laboratory of the University of Warsaw.

When will the workshop take place?
